SARC - School Accountability Report Card Public schools throughout California are required to provide information about themselves to the community in the form of an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC). These report cards provide a variety of data to allow the public to evaluate and compare schools in terms of student achievement, environment, resources and demographics. This information is based on a total year's worth of data, therefore, it is completed for the previous school year. The most recent SARC is for the 2010-2011 school year. The SARC can be obtained both electronically on our school website or in paper copy (upon request) in our school office. |

Five Furlough Days Scheduled for SCUSD in early 2012 Due to tremendous budget cuts over the last several years, Santa Clara Unified School District is joining many districts across the state in implementing furlough days for students and staff. Furlough days for early 2012 are January 2, March 12, March 26, March 27 and May 21. More information regarding these days will be posted on the Santa Clara Unified School District website, www.santaclarausd.org. Parents are encouraged to plan ahead for activities for their students on these days. There may be a few exceptions for programs that run on a contractual basis, so please check with your school contact for exact program offerings on those days. The reduction of staff salaries by five days results in approximately $2.3 Million dollars that will go toward the budget deficit for the 2011-2012 school year.
